Cheesy Jalapeño Corn Bread

Pain Is Good Jalapeno Hot Sauce

Ingredients

¼ cup Pain Is Good Jalapeno Hot Sauce

1 cup sour cream

2/3 cup milk

2 eggs

½ cup butter – melted

15-16oz favorite corn bread mix

1 tbsp sugar

2 jalapeno peppers – diced – deseeded if less heat is desired

4oz cheddar cheese – shredded

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F.  

Combine sour cream, milk, egg, butter, and hot sauce in a large mixing bowl.

Add corn bread mix and sugar, mixing till incorporated, do not over mix.

Add the diced jalapenos and cheese mixing enough to incorporate.

Grease a 9×9 pan, pour the batter in, smooth and level it in the pan.

Bake at 400°F for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and a knife or toothpick can be inserted to the center and be removed cleanly.
